A Volunteer must:

1. Register with the District Volunteer Office by completing the volunteer registration form and submitting it to the school office;
    

2. Receive training at the school site—training will cover school safety rules, dress requirements and job expectations;
    

3. Sign in daily at the front office and wear an appropriate volunteer badge, as designated by school site;
    

4. Comply with the Volunteer Code of Conduct, and all other district, school and classroom policies, rules and curriculum;
    

5. Serve as a positive and caring adult role model for children and youth attending the school where the volunteer is assigned;
    

6. Immediately report any suspected child abuse or neglect to the staff supervisor, or to school administration so it can be properly documented and reported to the appropriate agency;
    

7. Be safety conscious and immediately report any other concerns for the safety of students, staff or other volunteers
