Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) is dedicated to
increasing strategic partnerships that will help serve our
students and families – putting kids first.
On Thursday, October 6, 2011, the Sacramento Kings teamed up
with the Sacramento City Unified School District and the
California Endowment to bring fitness lessons and examples to
students at Will C. Wood Middle School. The event, held in the
gym, featured various Kings gameday talent such as break dancers,
Slamson, Royal Court dancers, and Strength Coach Daniel Shapiro.
Students were treated with contest, performances by the dance
teams, and free stuff handed out by Kings staff.
