Grade Science - Textbook Recommendation
This spring, the Middle School Science Committee convened to finalize the
selection of Science textbooks and instructional materials for students in
grades 7-8. Textbooks and materials were reviewed for content and
alignment to the needs of students in the Sacramento City Unified School
District. The following programs are recommended for adoption:
7th Grade
- Life Science Holt/ Rhinehart & Winston 2007
8th Grade
- Focus on Physical
Science,
Glencoe McGraw-Hill 2007
These textbooks/instructional materials are on public display at the
Professional Library at the Serna Center, 5735 47th Avenue,
Sacramento CA 95824. The recommendation will be presented to the Board
for approval on June 5, 2008. If there are questions, please send them to
