Program Information

Established in 1968, the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program is an academically rigorous program that also seeks to develop well-rounded students who will have an impact in their community – locally and globally.  The IB Program at LBHS is open to any student who is determined to succeed academically.  In particular, students who are resolute to do his or her best, willingness to be organized in order to complete the work while leading a full, balanced life, and a strong commitment to learning in and beyond the classroom.  Students who have participated in the IB Diploma Program report that their involvement with IB has given them the tools they need to succeed at college, including self-confidence, research skills and their ability to manage their time.

Application Requirements

  1. Specialty Program Application (Available 12/4/17 - 1/26/18)
  2. Two Teacher Recommendations (one from your current ELA teacher and one from another current teacher). Recommendation requests will be submitted through the online application. 
  3. Transcript. This will be automatically sent to the program through the online application. 
  4. Standardized Test Scores. This will be automatically sent to the program through the online application.
