Infant/Toddler and Teen Parenting Programs

Description

Early Head Start; CalSAFE, and State General Child Care funded child care and home-based services for children ages 0 to 3 with comprehensive support services for families and pregnant teens including parenting support, social services, health, mental health and nutrition, child development, special education support and goal setting.
 

Location(s)

Capital City Child Development, Hiram Johnson Family Education center, American Legion High School.
 

Hours of Operation

Child care is available from 7:30 to 3:30.  Offices and home visiting is available 7:30 to 5:30.

None

Eligibility Requirements

Families must be income eligible and children age eligible, and must be a resident of SCUSD.
 

Application Process

Head Start and Cal SAFE applications available at any Child Development Department registration center.
