Program or Service: Infant/Toddler and Teen Parenting Programs

Description: Early Head Start; CalSAFE, and State General Child Care funded child care and home-based services for children ages 0 to 3 with comprehensive support services for families and pregnant teens including parenting support, social services, health, mental health and nutrition, child development, special education support and goal setting.

Location(s): Capital City Child Development, Hiram Johnson Family Education center, American Legion High School.

Hours of Operation: Child care is available from 7:30 to 3:30.  Offices and home visiting is available 7:30 to 5:30.

Eligibility Requirements: Families must be income eligible and children age eligible, and must be a resident of SCUSD.

Application Process: Head Start and Cal SAFE applications available at any Child Development Department registration center.
