Workshop Opportunity to Share: California’s New System for Accountability
The State of California has finally moved beyond grading schools with a single number. The former single-number system for rating districts and schools (the API) has been replaced by one that will include multiple measures to show how districts and individual schools are meeting student needs.
The California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) is hosting a series of free all-day workshops statewide on local control and continuous improvement from November 2-19. These workshops are open to all audiences: district staff, board members, teachers and classified staff, as well as parents/guardians, students, community members and other local stakeholders.
The Sacramento workshop is Wednesday, November 2, at the Convention Center.
