Principal Bulletin Informational

On May 25 and May 26, students from all over Sacramento County will be arriving at the Sacramento County Fair for their annual Ag Educational tours! Organizations will have immediate access in educating the youth of today in the field of agriculture. By taking advantage of this great opportunity, you can form the minds of these students, which will create a thirst for knowledge in the field of agriculture for many years to come.

Sacramento County Fair “School Tours” is designed as an educational program to educate young children, grades K-6, with exceptions for Special Education, and gives a real-life lesson in agriculture that takes learning out of the classroom giving school children the hands-on learning that each and every child deserves. Thousands of students reap the rewards of this fun-filled and educational trip while visiting dozens of Agricultural Education Stations. Please see the attached for information.

Don’t forget about the Farm Garden in a Wheelbarrow program which allows the students (before fair) to grow vegetables in class!! Their wheelbarrows are then submitted for judging with Sacramento’s Master Gardener – Will Maynard and his team !
