PTA Reflections Program
All Grades

Principal Bulletin

Coming soon is the PTA Reflections program, an art competition program that goes up to the national PTA level. Final entries will be taken until November 21 when they will be judged by the Sacramento Council of PTAs. Winning entries will move on the Third district, then state, then nationals.

There are various arts categories in which students can participate including: dance, choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts. There are five divisions for elementary including: Primary (Preschool-Grade 2), Intermediate (Grades 3-5), Middle/Junior (Grades 6-8), Senior (Grades 9-12) and Special Artist (Non-Graded). Students who qualify for the Special Artist Division may choose to enter in the traditional four grade divisions. If this is the case, students will follow all general and arts category rules, but may submit an entry in the grade division most closely aligned to their cognitive or functional abilities. The student is then recognized and awarded as part of the general student population without regard to special needs or challenges.

The theme this year is: “The world would be a better place if.”
