The district has extended the application period for the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) Parent Advisory Committee until October 31, 2016. Please help us by sharing the information below with your families to increase parent participation in the process.

LCAP Parent Advisory Committee: A front row seat to district decision making.

The district’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is an annual plan that describes how the district uses state funds to support goals for students, particularly low income, English learner and foster youth.

Members of the LCAP Parent Advisory Committee will receive information which helps them to understand the rules of state funding as well as the goals, actions and services contained in the LCAP. Also, members provide insight and opinions for the Board of Education and the Superintendent to consider. Finally, committee members communicate with their community, share their knowledge about the LCAP and provide feedback to the district.
