Federal Time Accounting Procedures (Title I Funded Schools)
Federal law requires that all employees funded with federal grant funds provide verification of their time worked in the federal program. As a result of a federal programs audit last year, our district implemented revised time accounting procedures. Office managers were trained and continue to receive updates in these new procedures at Office managers meetings. It is important that office managers have started processes for time accounting with federal funded staff this school year. They have been encouraged to call the State and Federal Programs office for assistance if needed. Attached is some general information about the revised time accounting procedures.
