Faculty/Staff School Climate Survey
The district is asking all sites to administer the Staff School Climate Survey during the June 1 staff meeting. Please designate 30 minutes of the meeting to taking the survey. The survey is online only. If staff does not have access to laptops or other devices, principals may choose to use student Macbooks or Chromebooks. As an alternative, have staff complete the survey in the classroom during the first or last 30 minutes of the meeting to allow them to take the survey in complete confidence.
While the survey is voluntary, it is hoped that we will have high participation to establish a baseline for teachers’ perception of school safety and connectedness. Results will be reported in the LCAP. Once the baseline is established, the district can use this data to inform decision-making and guide how LCFF funds are used to support positive school climate. Responses will only be reported at the district level.
