Clock is Ticking on 7th Grade Tdap Compliance
As you know, state law requires all incoming middle and high school students to be compliant with Tdap vaccine regulations by the first day of school.
To date, hundreds of incoming seventh graders have not yet provided schools with proof of the Tdap booster and are therefore out of compliance with state law.
Please note that, due to a change in law effective January 1, Tdap waiver forms must now be signed by a medical provider.
Students with no insurance, Medi-Cal, or who are Native American or Native Alaskan may qualify to receive free immunizations at our immunization clinic. The Immunization Clinic is in Room 4 at the Enrollment Center and will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on August 19, 21, 25 and 27 (closed for lunch from 12 to 12:30 p.m.). Students with private insurance will need to see their primary care provider. Tdap boosters may also be obtained at Rite-Aid or Walgreens for about $70.
