Art of Kindness Participation Details
Open to All K-12 SCUSD Students
During Random Acts of Kindness Week (February 12-16), teachers and students are invited to participate in kindness activities each day.
Students then will be challenged to put their kindness lessons into action by documenting their act/acts of kindness during the months of February and March, and finally, producing an artistic product or documentary project that reflects their act of kindness.
Students may document/present their acts of kindness in the following ways:
- Visual Art (examples: painting, sketch, photography, sculpture, digital media, etc.)
- Performance Art-10 minutes or less (examples: musical, dance, spoken words, etc.)
- Service Project Documentary-5 minutes or less (example: powerpoint presentation, video documentary, etc.)
Each project should include:
- Student Name
- Email Contact
- School Name
- Grade Level
- A brief (one page or less) written reflection on how they demonstrated kindness in their project

Please be sure to upload into the appropriate grade-level folder. Create a folder for your submission and put your name, grade, school as the Folder Name.
All submissions need to be uploaded by 5pm on March 23, 2018.
