The Sacramento County Sheriff's
Department is offering a new multi-language, toll-free telephone message
system for information related to gang activity and crime.
Fear of recrimination frequently prevents citizens and
victims from coming forth with information about gangs. The telephone
numbers are designed to create another avenue for people who wish to report
gang-related information and remain anonymous.
The telephone numbers are in English, Spanish and
Hmong. The messages are not continuously monitored.
Emergency calls should be directed to 911.
The numbers are:

- 888-873-GANG (Spanish)
- 800-955-GANG (Hmong)
