Police/Security Services Office |
The
Security Services Office is responsible for the
security of ninety-five district sites, 52,000 students and over 6,000
employees.
Officers
from this department are responsible for responding to intrusion
alarms, and conducting investigations regarding burglaries, vandalisms
and arsons.
This
office acts as School Resource Officer liaison between the District, the
Sacramento Police Department, and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s
Department.

processes and provides district identification cards for all
Sacramento City School District employees. Beginning in July
2003, the Security Services Department began using the Livescan
fingerprinting system. Officers from this department are
fingerprinting new employees and school site volunteers.
This department files property crime reports with the Sacramento
Police Department and the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department.
District officers work very closely with these agencies in an effort
to apprehend responsible individuals who commit property crimes on
district property. |
