BASIC FUNCTION:
Support the Bowling Green
Charter School Complex so that the education provided to students is among
the best in the United States of America.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES:
Work
with charter school and prospective charter school principals and staff
to: (1) identify strategies to support teaching and instruction; (2) interpret
data; and (3) evaluate practices so that the program at the Charter
School Complex becomes one of the best in the United States of America.
Supervise
and evaluate the performance of: (1) the principals at the Bowling
Green Charter School Complex; and (2) the support staff assigned to
the Charter School Complex (e.g., math coach, counselor, nurse, plant
manager, hall monitor, charter schools complex secretary, and school
community liaisons).
Manage
the fiscal operation of the Charter School Complex.
Coordinate
the elimination of concapping students from the Bowling Green attendance
area.
Supervise
the Center for Orthopedically Handicapped Students.
Organize
the intersession program for the Charter School Complex.
Act
as liaison with Sacramento City Unified School District department staff
and the Charter School Complex.
Perform
related duties as assigned by the Steering Committee.
TRAINING, EDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE:
Any
combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree, three years increasingly
responsible supervisory experience, including at least two years
experience as a charter school principal and two years teaching
experience.
LICENSES
AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid
California driver’s license and able to provide own transportation to
meetings held in various locations; Administrative Services Credential.
