BASIC
FUNCTION:
Assist
with planning, coordination, and implementation of the district’s
Title VII System-wide Improvement Grant; collect and maintain data
related to the reform goals.
REPRESENTATIVE
DUTIES: (Incumbents may perform
any combination of the essential functions shown below. This position

intended to accurately reflect the principal job elements.)
Collect
and maintain data related to the reform goals established in the Title
VII System-wide Improvement Grant.
Develop
and maintain data collection systems and schedules to support ongoing
evaluation of program effectiveness.
Provide
support for the maintenance of scores, analysis, and reporting of gains
established through
the State Test of English Proficiency.
Provide
leadership for the development of assessments of ELD standards, and
develop systems to analyze
and report gains.
Provide
leadership and support for the development of alternative assessments
for content standards.
Prepare
reports that are disaggregated by variables as requested.
Provide
leadership and support for gathering and maintaining data related to
program participants, rates of graduation, re-designation, and grade
point averages.
Provide
support for schools in the analysis of data.
Work
collaboratively with other departments to provide accurate data related
to English learners and reform initiatives supported by the grant.
Assume
additional responsibilities, tasks, and duties as may be determined by
the director or designee.
TRAINING,
EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
Any
combination equivalent to: master’s degree in the area of bilingual
education, research, statistical reporting, or closely related field(s).
Minimum of three years of experience teaching English learners at the
K-12 level.
LICENSES
AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid
California driver’s license and provide personal automobile; valid
teaching credential; CLAD/BCLAD or equivalent certificate.
