BASIC
FUNCTION:
Manage,
control, and coordinate the Foster Youth Services Program; develop,
coordinate, and implement strategic plans and grants for Foster Youth
Services; provide assistance and support to the Community, Health, and
Education Support Services (CHESS) Division in implementing, monitoring,
and evaluating the Foster Youth Services Program.
REPRESENTATIVE
DUTIES: (Incumbents may perform

Manage,
control, and coordinate the Foster Youth Services Program; develop,
coordinate, and implement strategic plans and grants for Foster Youth
Services; provide assistance and support to the Community, Health, and
Education Support Services (CHESS) Division in implementing, monitoring,
and evaluating the Foster Youth Services Program. E
Conduct
research, planning, and proposal writing for the Foster Youth Grant and
other outside funding opportunities. E
Develop
and coordinate Foster Youth Services Department budget and accounting
requirements. E
Coordinate
LEA Medi-CAL reimbursement and billing processes for Foster Youth Services
Department. E
Analyze
data, and compile reports to improve the effectiveness of the Foster Youth
Program in the Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD). E
Assist
with making presentations to SCUSD staff, community members, parents, and
potential funding sources regarding Foster Youth Services. E
Assist
with development, coordination, and implementation of Community, Health,
and Education Support Services and Foster Youth Services marketing
campaigns. E
Provide
counseling, tutoring, and mentoring services to district foster youth. E
Supervise
Foster Youth Services Department staff to achieve annual objectives. E
Develop
effective relationships with community agencies and organizations in the
foster youth arena to improve SCUSD Foster Youth Services. E
Perform
related duties as assigned.
TRAINING,
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any
combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree, and two years increasingly
responsible experience with foster youth.
LICENSES
AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid
California driver’s license, and provide personal automobile;
Administrative Services Credential preferred, but not required.
