BASIC
FUNCTION:
Coordinate
the development, implementation, enhancement, and improvement of academic
support services for at-risk students who perform below grade level.
Provide continuous support for students, parents, and staff contacted in
the course of the work.
REPRESENTATIVE
DUTIES: (Incumbents may perform

Coordinate
the development, implementation, enhancement, and improvement of academic
support services for at-risk students who perform below grade level.
Provide continuous support for students, parents, and staff contacted in
the course of the work. E
Secure,
monitor, write, and coordinate grants and grant budget line items designed
to improve student achievement at the school site. E
Identify
at-risk students who perform below grade level. Provide and coordinate
intervention strategies of skill acquisition for at-risk students who
perform below grade level. E
Monitor
attendance of at-risk students, and develop and implement programs
designed to improve student attendance. E
Analyze
all available data, and provide feedback information to school staff to
raise skill level of at-risk students who perform below grade level. E
Implement
goals and activities developed by the school Principal. E
Develop
formal links with all appropriate community resources, and establish and
maintain parent, community, and agency contacts. E
Provide
leadership to school staff, community members, and others to promote and
develop an at-risk assessment and improvement plan. E
Participate
in and contribute to Student Study Team (SST) and School Attendance Review
Board (SARB) meetings, and serve on committees regarding assigned area as
required; drive a vehicle to conduct work. E
Supervise
and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. E
Perform
related duties as assigned.
TRAINING,
EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE:
Any
combination equivalent to: bachelor’s degree, and three years of
increasingly responsible experience in public education.
LICENSES
AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Valid
California driver’s license, and provide personal automobile;
Administrative Services Credential authorizing service at the secondary
level preferred.
