Purpose: To
create and deliver beginning teacher-centered quality services by
providing job-embedded support and assistance in order to
increase teaching and learning as teachers work toward a Clear
Credential.
Mission: Through the
BTSA Induction experience teachers will work closely with an
experienced Support Provider in order to focus on meeting the
needs of all learners by engaging
in meaningful Plan, Teach, Reflect, Apply cycle
intended to improve teaching and learning; receive enhanced
professional growth and development opportunities; and earn a
Clear Credential.
Vision:
SCUSD’s BTSA Induction program will guide and support
participating teachers by providing flexible individualized
support, implementing a structured curriculum and offering
guidance through induction specific standards; yet will remain
flexible enough to address unique issues faced by beginning
teachers.
