Welcome to the Multilingual/Multicultural Education Department! |

The
Multilingual Education Department
provides leadership, guidance, and technical assistance to schools and
other departments to support the high achievement of English Learners and
language minority students. |
|
This
department also facilitates and supports meaningful participation of the
parents of these students in the educational process. The staff of
the department is dedicated to ensuring that English Learners meet the
district’s Vital Signs, experience success through full, viable access to
all district programs, and are prepared to participate in a wide spectrum
of post-secondary life choices.

It
is our intention that the information contained on this website be useful
to schools and the public, as well. We include documents and tools
extrapolated from our Master Plan and Procedural Handbook for Programs
for English Learners. We are in the
process of completing the revision of the Master Plan. As soon as it is
approved by our school board, a copy will be available upon request.
