Gifted and Talented Education Mission Statement
The Sacramento City Unified School District is committed to seeking out
and supporting gifted & high ability students who represent diverse socio-
economic, linguistic and cultural backgrounds. We believe that students
should experience qualitatively differentiated curricula commensurate
with their unique learning needs and individual
potentiality.
GATE Student Perspectives
GATE students and their families were
invited to attend a special GATE Student Presentation. Students from
various programs in the Sacramento City Unified School District shared
their personal experiences and challenges they faced transitioning from
Elementary to Middle School and Middle to High School.
