Purpose
and Goals
The purpose of the
Plus+
Grants
is to enhance student
achievement and educational opportunities in innovative ways.
Application
Criteria
The
Foundation will fund individual teachers, teams of school personnel and
school sites.
Funds may be used to provide whatever is needed to provide innovative
approaches to increase student achievement and enhance student educational
opportunities, including instructional materials, technology, field trips,
supplies, etc. A report, photographs or other materials as a result of
the project, and evaluation of the outcomes of funded activity are
required upon project completion.
Grants may NOT be used for staff salaries or personal honorariums for the
applicant. Grants will range from $500 to $1,000. Grant requests at the
higher end of the range should be justified by the complexity of the
program and the number of students it will affect.
