| Orchard Gold Star In furtherance of the
district's 5-year technology plan, the Education Technology Office has begun
piloting Orchard Software in several schools in the district.
Orchard has over 150 Skill Trees covering over
3000 essential skills that are correlated to most state and national
standardized tests.
Each Skill Tree has been designed to build
and reinforce key skills that are taught in the classroom. It supports good
instruction of the core curriculum. It does not replace it.
Orchard's variety of instructional approaches makes it an effective tool in
meeting all of our students' individual learning needs.
