Unexpected snow at Fern Bacon delights staff, students

e-Connections Post

Fern Bacon Middle School teachers Matthew Schlager, Daniel Crenshaw and Steven Jones, along with Assistant Principal Tarik McFall, decided to bring snow to the South Sac campus on December 19.

Once students left the school for the evening, the group piled into Jones’ truck and drove up to the Sierra, where they loaded with the truck with snow and brought it back to campus.

In the early morning hours on December 20, the crew built a snowman in the quad to surprise students.

Staff and students took pictures with snowman and played in the snow, making it a great start to winter vacation.
