Sutter students take home video awards
Sacramento Educational Cable Consortium (SECC) announced that Sutter Middle School students were recognized at the annual Student Educational Video Awards (SEVA).
Three videos from Sutter Middle School won SEVA Awards:
- In the highly-contested School News 7-8 category, Sutter’s school newscast The Pick Episode 23 was awarded a SEVA.
- Producer Chloe Parker-Caruso took home a SEVA for her Documentary Front Street Animal Shelter.
- How to Become a Fencer won the SEVA for producer Andrew Morrissy in the Creative Expression 7-8 category.
Sutter Middle School student Aaliyah Evans was chosen as one of 4 student presenters to give out awards in front of over 1,000 people in attendance.
