California Prison Industry Authority, an agency that works to give youthful offenders job skills, recently donated 40 refurbished desktop computers to Sutter Middle School.

The computers, gathered from state agencies, were refurbished by 10 young men at Stockton’s N.A. Chaderjian Youth Correctional Facility. Sutter will use the computers in the library/study hall, offices and classrooms to help provide access to technology for students and parents who may not have a computer at home.

KCRA and ABC10 were present at the donation, along with representatives from several state agencies.
