Sutter photography students selected to take part in ArtStreet
Sutter Middle’s Advanced Photo Class will be featured in ArtStreet opening this weekend to the general public. Over 80 artists were selected to take over an abandoned warehouse and create an immersive, interactive art experience.
Sutter’s contribution is called “Our City, Our Streets” – a photographic collage of each students interpretation of the street. It is a conceptual piece with the collage actually on the ground so that viewers can walk over and experience “our streets.”
In addition, two photography students will have individual pieces featured in the installation: Jacob Pluckebaum (spray paint can sculpture) and Helen Morris (painting on canvas).
ArtStreet will be open to the general public February 3 – 25. Visit the M5 Arts website for more information.
