e-Connections Post

SCUSD’s Health Services department offers the following flu season advice:

“Many areas of the country are experiencing high levels of influenza-like illness. It is not too late to prevent the flu!

“The Centers for Disease Control continues to recommend flu vaccinations for people who have not yet been vaccinated this season and anti-viral treatment as early as possible for people who get sick and are high risk for complications.

“Flu shots are available through your doctor, local pharmacies and clinics.

“Everyday illness prevention is especially important during flu season. Please remind your children to wash their hands frequently; avoid touching their eyes, nose and mouth; cover their coughs and sneezes; and avoid sick people. These tips apply to adults as well.
