SCUSD schools are invited to submit an application for the Runnin’ for Rhett Youth Fitness Program, a free five-week program that focuses on educating and engaging young people and their families on the benefits of fitness and nutrition.

Runnin’ for Rhett (R4R) is a local non-profit foundation founded in 2007 to honor the life of Rhett Seevers who was born with cerebral palsy and died at a young age due to complications.

To date, the R4R program has committed $185,640 to 121 schools to train more than 7,000 students.
