Sacramento New Technology High School Students Win Awards for Access Sacramento PSA Contest
Sacramento New Technology High School Design Pathway students Alondra Santana-Isidro and Jesus Escamilla Legglew recently won awards for Access Sacramento’s 2017-18 High School PSA Contest. Santana-Isidro won 2nd Place Overall for her bilingual PSA for the League of Women Voters while Escamilla-Legglew was awarded a Certificate of Merit for his bilingual PSA for Bradshaw Animal Shelter.
The Access Sacramento High School PSA Project gives high school media students an opportunity to develop a public service announcement for a real client. Students can select from one of three clients, each a nonprofit or governmental agency. If selected by the client, their PSA will air on Access Sacramento and may be used in the client’s social media outreach.
