Sac City Unified Students and Team Members Honor MLK

e-Connections Post

On Monday, January 15, students and Sacramento City Unified team members representing many schools and programs in the district honored the legacy of civil rights leader and icon, Martin Luther King Jr., by participating in the annual Sacramento MLK march, and joining community volunteers in service projects across the city.

One of these projects at Fern Bacon Middle School was spearheaded by Kaiser Permanente and its team of volunteers. To acknowledge the great amount of participation in these events by district students, staff and community members, we have created a photo album to commemorate some of the highlights on Monday’s activities.
