Phoebe Hearst fourth graders discover the fun in learning
Learning about the California Gold Rush is so much fun!
Phoebe Hearst Elementary School fourth graders traveled to Coloma Outdoor Discovery School in Coloma, California to take a step back to the 1800s.
Students walked in the footsteps of the ‘49ers learning about the culture, music, folklore and environment.
A three-mile hike led students to the James Marshall Gold Discovery State Park. Upon their return to present day, the kids getting off the bus were brimming with newfound knowledge!
