In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday, Martin Luther King Jr. K-8 School held a “March on Kindness” on Tuesday, January 15.

As an homage to King’s Freedom March, students, staff and parents kicked off the celebration with a march around the neighborhood. During the march, many students walked with arms or hands intertwined while singing “Once There Was a Man Named King.”

The school is also participating in a Kindness and Justice Challenge. Students are being challenged to do something kind and/or just every day during the month of January.
