More than 700 people attended SCUSD’s fourth annual Linked Learning Recruitment Fair at the Charles A. Jones Business/Education Center on November 14 — a record turnout for the event.

This year’s theme was “Choose Your Future” and middle school students and their parents had an opportunity to do just that.

Highlights of the event included presentations from emerging Linked Learning pathways at Luther Burbank High School and the new Manufacturing and Design (MaD) pathway at John F. Kennedy High School.

The Linked Learning approach to high school has four main elements: rigorous academic classes, challenging technical courses, work-based learning opportunities and wrap-around student support. Click here to learn more about Linked Learning.
