Learn About the California School Dashboard Tool at Hands-On Workshop

e-Connections Post

Sacramento City Unified embraces using data to identify and reduce academic and discipline challenges within our system. The California School Dashboard provides a helpful first step by shining a light on what’s working well and where improvement is needed.

Using a number of different measures, the Dashboard informs parents and community members about how the district is doing, as well as each school. Understanding the Dashboard can help parents participate more actively in the district’s planning process for the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).

On January 29, two workshops are offered at the Serna Center to give parents a hands-on tour of the new Dashboard. The first workshop is during the Parent Information Exchange at 11:30 a.m., and then repeated at 6:00 p.m. A light meal, childcare, and Spanish translation are provided. Please call (916) 643-9222 to reserve your spot.
