It’s almost here: SCUSD’s Linked Learning Pathways Showcase and Recruitment Fair is Thursday, November 13, at the Charles A. Jones Career and Education Center.

SCUSD offers 19 Linked Learning Pathways for high school students. The pathways “link” students to career fields such as public policy, health, construction, business, energy and law enforcement.

In Linked Learning Pathways, students have access to mentors, internships and field trips as well as specialized course work.

Pathways are open to all students and designed to prepare graduates for college and careers. Schools that will be represented at the fair are: Hiram Johnson, Rosemont, McClatchy, Kennedy, Burbank, Kit Carson, Health Professions, Carver, School of Engineering and Science and The MET.

The fair will be held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
