Health Professions High School received a $3,000 grant from Lowe’s to improve the school’s garden.

Teacher Erich Richards and his students have been working hard but a lack of funding has stalled the garden, says Health Professions Principal Ann Curtis. “We can’t wait to see what great things come from our garden,” she adds. “Thank you Lowe’s!”

Health Professions also has added more visitation days. The school will be open for visits from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on February 4, March 4, April 8 and May 6. For more information, call (916) 264-3262 or visit www.hphsjaguars.com.
