Health Professions hosts educators from Latin America
Health Professions High School hosted a group of educators from the International Visitor Leadership Program last week.
The IVLP team is learning how to integrate career and technical education into core subjects using a healthcare theme. Education leaders were from Bolivia, Argentina, Mexico and Honduras and have been traveling throughout the United States looking at model educational practices.
The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs funds and administers the IVLP in cooperation with National Program Agencies, a group of private, not-for-profit organizations based in Washington, D.C.
