Congratulations to students from Health Professions High School (HPHS) for being featured in Mental Health California Magazine for its University of California A-G mental health curriculum and their rigorous college preparation courses. 

Health Professions is one of the most unique, innovative and challenging programs in the Sacramento area. At HPHS, students from around the region have the opportunity to experience the many careers in the healthcare field together with a traditional college prep curriculum. 

It provides exceptional attention to students, ensuring they develop the educational and social establishment they need in a structured environment blended with solid academics and applied learning in local health systems.

Principal Marla Clayton Johnson, was also recognized for her leadership and for being a tireless advocate for student achievement, family involvement in education and community engagement.
