Harvest Festival at John Still Middle
The PASSage-ASES after School Program and John Still Middle School hosted a successful Harvest Festival on Halloween. Parents, students and friends of the community helped out and supported the event, which included carnival games in the gym. The most popular game was Blow the Gum. Parents and students competed to be the fastest bubble gum blower. There also were arts and craft tables set up for making puppets, bracelets and necklaces and a musical instrument “petting zoo” that allowed students and parents to try out all of the great instruments on the John Still campus.
Topping off the night was a visit to a “haunted house,” created under the direction of Principal Dr. Temeeka Richardson. Students and parents loved it!
