e-Connections Post

Sacramento County’s Child Health and Disability Prevention program is providing free wellness exams for babies, children, teens and young adults who are eligible for Medi-Cal or income-qualified.

Trained medical providers are available to help children stay healthy, find health problems early and answer health questions.

The CHDP program offers valuable health resources for babies, children, teens and young adults and provides the following services:

  • Free physical exams
  • Vision, dental and hearing screenings
  • Immunizations (shots)
  • Nutrition check-ups
  • Health and tobacco education
  • Lab tests

It is not too early to prepare for school entry exams, sports physicals, camp physicals and other check-ups. Call (916) 875-7151 to learn about eligibility requirements.
