The California Museum honors resilience with WWII internment camp experience

e-Connections Post

The California Museum downtown has created an in-depth learning experience for children on life in a World War II internment camp.

“Time of Remembrance” allows students to explore citizenship, constitutionality and concept of redress as they are led through a tour of the museum’s “Uprooted! Japanese Americans During WWII” exhibit.

Interested teachers can call (916) 654-1729 to receive a free resource packet to help prepare students for this thought-provoking program.

Time of Remembrance runs through March 21.
