Allegra Alessandri, principal of George Washington Carver School of Arts & Science, has been awarded the Principal Arts Leadership Award from the Sacramento County Office of Education.

According to SCOE, “The PAL program is intended to cast a light on those principals who stay true to a vision that the visual and performing arts enliven, motivate, and facilitate student success. The goal is to collect stories about the heroic actions on the part of area principals who have provided students quality arts learning opportunities through strategic collaborations, innovations, persistence, and effective partnerships.”

Congratulations!
