Age is just a number: Burbank food service assistant to celebrate 95th birthday

A living testament to the benefits of staying active, Luther Burbank High School Food Service Assistant Roosevelt Knox will celebrate his 95th birthday on Saturday.

“Roosevelt has great attendance and he comes to work every day well dressed and ready to work,” says Supervisor Cyndi Neaves. “He enjoys supplying extra fruit and milk on the lines during service for the students.  He is an independent worker and we have enjoyed working with him.”

After 27 years with the district, Mr. Knox has indicated he will retire at the end of this school year.

Congratulations!
