Summer program for incoming 1st - 6th graders
SummerQuest is a stimulating 6-week summer learning program that will give your incoming 1st through 6th grade child the opportunity to participate in meaningful and engaging summer learning experience that will equip them with the skills to transition and succeed in the 2018-2019 school year.
SummerQuest will provide a theme based learning program to strengthen students’ literacy, math, social science, healthy eating, physical activity, and artistic skills.
The SummerQuest program will operate Monday thru Thursday, 8AM-2PM from June 18th to July 26th. All students will be provided with a daily breakfast and lunch meal as a part of the program.

- Pacific Elementary
- Hollywood Park Elementary
- Elder Creek Elementary
- Peter Burnett Elementary
- Oak Ridge Elementary
- Nicholas Elementary
- Rosa Parks K-8 School
- David Lubin Elementary
- Boys and Girls Club (on Lemon Hill)
Each of these sites will serve as a Community School to allow students from surrounding SCUSD schools to enroll. Applicants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the program.

Families will be notified of lottery results during the week of June 4-8, 2018.
In order to ensure an equitable, fair and consistent process across all school sites, enrollment for SummerQuest programming at ALL participating sites will be determined through a lottery process. Continual support and guidance to families and sites will be provided by Youth Development Support Services.
