South Area Elementary Schools Attendance Assignment Changes
A new elementary school in
the South Area of Sacramento will require changes in student attendance
assignments for surrounding schools. You are invited to learn more about
proposed student attendance reassignment areas and share your input at any or
all of the following community meetings. The same information will be presented

Middle School Attendance Assignment Changes
Fern Bacon
Middle School will become a neighborhood middle school this September 2007 to
implement and improve a master schedule that supports student achievement. The
“proposed” new structure at Fern Bacon will be for seventh and eighth grade
students and will require changes in student attendance assignments for the
surrounding middle schools. Additionally, John Still K-8 Elementary School will
also become a middle school with the opening of the new South Area Elementary
School in September 2007. You are invited to learn more about proposed student
attendance reassignment areas and share your input at any or all of the
