Board Action:
High School Update
(Friday, March 17, 2006)
Under Concept III of the Education Program recommendations, the Board of
Education took the following action at the March 16, 2006 board of education
meeting:

Approved district staff
proceeding with further discussions and community engagement regarding the
Science & Engineering School (7-12) at the Sojourner Truth parcel.

Approved further study and
community engagement around a location for a Waldorf/Social Justice School
K-8, K-12, 7-12, or 9-12.

Directed staff to find a
permanent site for the MET Charter High School, preferably in the downtown
Sacramento area.
