Marian
Anderson Update (Friday, March 17, 2006)
At the March 16, 2006 Board of Education meeting, board members approved
proceeding with conversion of Marian Anderson Elementary School to a special

the new center and directed staff to engage parents and community around the
transition issues such as reassignment of the current students to different
schools next fall, transportation needs, and timelines. A schedule of these
future meetings has not yet been determined. Details may be found under Concept
